I am Yigit Koroglu , concept artist and illustrator.I will try to tell a little bit about the background stories of the factions of our yet unnanounced game project.
Brotherhood of Vengeance
“People are known for their hunger for power and their lust for immortality.They wanted to be gods themselves.There has been a secret and dark underground organization since the very early stages of known history, which’s goal has been to find immortality.It’s members were made of witches and magicians back in time, then mad doctors and crazy scientists.Their ways were unorthodox and dark.With the current developments in science, they started to enhance human body with implants and chemical components thus creating unbeatable soldiers who could run faster, endure the worst of pain and who could squeeze a man with one hand as if it was a lemon.They builded vast armies promising immortality through a “few” genetical modifications.They called for the blind, the crippled, the deaf to their side and told them to fight their so called “fate”.The leaders of the organization were now seen as the gods of a new era.”
The Inquisition
“They had many names in history : witch hunters,monks, knights, paladins…They could be kings or beggars,belly dancers or wrestlers…This was just a mask for their true identity.They never cared for what they have been called.All they cared for was to pass on the Knowledge to the next generation of the members.They had no written records and no base of operations.If there was something happening that could harm the faith , certainly a member of them would appear there and “fix” the situation.Most of the time people wouldn’t even be aware of their presence. Now the most feared day came: people started a rebellion against their “fate” , rebellion against their own nature.So the members of the ancient community decided it was the right time to wipe away the unbelievers from the earth with the power of heavens, with the Knowldge…”
